New partnerships and increased visibility of Destination Europe in France

Growing visibility of the learning tool in France

The educational tool Destination Europe has recently been featured in several prominent newsletters, reflecting its growing recognition in France. As a result of EMN France’s networking efforts, it appeared in publications of the following actors:

  • Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV)

  • European Parliament Ambassador Schools  Network (EPAS)

  • Regional Academic Delegation for European and International Relations and Cooperation – Occitanie (DRAREIC)  (Délégation régionale académique aux relations européennes, internationales et à la coopération – Occitanie)

  • French Development Agency (AFD)  (Agence Française de Développement)

This growing visibility also reflects the development of new strategic partnerships.

New partnerships

The new partnerships are particularly reflected by the collaboration with the DRAREIC network, which represents the French Ministry of National Education in the administrative regions on European and international matters and strengthens the institutional anchoring of the learning tool within the education system.

At the same time, engagement with the network of civil society organisations leading projects in Education for Citizenship and International Solidarity (Éducation à la citoyenneté et à la solidarité internationale – ECSI), coordinated by AFD through a dedicated consultation group in which France now actively participates, broadens Destination Europe’s outreach and reinforces its role within the ecosystem of actors committed to global citizenship education.

More broadly, this growing visibility highlights the tool’s strong alignment with European priorities such as civic engagement, democratic participation, and international cooperation.

Its presence within the European Parliament Ambassador Schools Network underlines its pedagogical relevance for promoting knowledge of European institutions, while its inclusion in regional and development-focused communications demonstrates its contribution to international dialogue and global citizenship education.

The recognition of Destination Europe across these diverse institutional platforms confirms its value as an innovative educational resource fostering informed and active citizenship.
