From October to December 2025, EMN Lithuania presented the Destination Europe learning tool to various different stakeholders throughout Lithuania hosting a total of 8 workshops.
Workshops for employees of the Lithuanian Employement Service were offered in Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Panevėžys, Kaunas, and Vilnius. Additionally, Destination Europe sessions were organised for students of the Lithuanian House and Gravitas Schola in Vilnius.
During the interactive session, participants took on different roles, including representatives of European institutions, national and local government actors, and actors from non-governmental organisations. Participants took decisions that had a direct impact on the living conditions of migrants and the host society.
In addition to the Destination Europe sessions, the IOM Lithuania team also provided information on the prevention of human trafficking and safe migration. This part of the training covered various forms of exploitation, taught participants how to identify risks, introduced them to available assistance options, and strengthened their intercultural competencies.
