On 7 January 2026, the Luxembourg Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN) and the Liaison Office of the European Parliament in Luxembourg hosted their new interactive workshop format on migration policy “On the Way to Europe”, for the first time.
In this new two-part workshop, 11 students from the Lycée Classique de Diekirch (LCD) first participated in an interactive Destination Europe session, experiencing the challenges and opportunities of migration and integration policymaking.
In a second step, students had the opportunity to discuss their experiences with Charles Goerens, Luxembourgish Member of the European Parliament. This dialogue enabled them to discuss European migration policy in very concrete terms.
Below you will find more details on this new workshop format.
