EMN Germany presents Destination Europe to 12th-grade students in Nuremberg
By
On 4 February 2025 , EMN Germany was a guest at the Labenwolf-Gymnasium in Nürnberg. As part of the politics and society course, the Destination Europe learning tool was tested together with 22 students from the 12th grade. Both the students and the teacher greatly appreciated the fact that Destination Europe enables participants to work on and discuss the topic of migration from different perspectives.
Teacher feedback
“The Destination Europe role-playing game allows students to reflect on the topic of migration from the point of view of those affected as well as from the perspective of political decision-makers. It encourages young people to reflect on the topic of migration and promotes a controversial discussion on a relevant issue in local, federal and European politics”, says Matthias Göller, teacher at the Labenwolf-Gymnasium Nürnberg.
The school would therefore like to continue using Destination Europe in classes moving forward.
