Employees of Henkel Slovensko engaged in migration policy discussions during diversity month

In June, as part of Henkel Slovensko’s diversity month, employees participated in an interactive workshop using the EMN educational tool Destination Europe. The event, facilitated by EMN Slovakia, gave participants an opportunity to discuss migration policies and their impacts on people´s lives.

The session kicked off with an engaging presentation on global and local migration trends, shedding light on the current migration facts and figures as well as the most common myths connected to this topic.

This presentation was followed by an interactive role-playing activity using Destination Europe. Participants delved into complex decision-making processes concerning migration policies at local, national, and European levels. They explored the diverse experiences of three migrants – Yulia, Ahmed, and Sunil – and reflected on aspirations and challenges faced by these main personas who are navigating their unique migration scenarios.
